In case you didn't know i am having Jaw Surgery one week from today. A full-transverse(horizontal) cut will be made into my maxillary bone just above the alveolar processes, a segment roughly 4 mm height will be removed, thus severing the bone. It will then be refused with two L-shaped metal plates. So it shifts my upper jaw up a few millimeters.

This will fix my open bite (meaning my anterior teeth don't connect), and hopefully allow me to breath a lot better since surgery will remove part of my maxillary sinuses. Also, once i am healed up I'll have about 6 mouths left in braces. w00t!

I had my pre-op appointments with the oral surgeon and my family practitioner the past two days and i am all set. The surgeon took the final models of my jaw, and i have my final blood work done. Yay? I will be in the hospital for about a day. First week i eat everything from a straw. Lucky i like ice cream. =] Second week i get mashed foods. I will not be wired shut however i will have rubber bands and thus wont be able to talk very well, other then some Boris Karloff(Frankenstein ) like grunts. gerrrr arggggg! After the surgery is done the main thing i have to worry about is infection. Overall recovery time is ~ two weeks - month. Also, i get lortab again.

Bottom line if you want to hang out with me or talk to me on the phone do it in the next week or so.

Summary: Based on my political analyses over the past year and a half I have come to several conclusions. 1. I am vary disappointed with both of the remaining nominees to the point where I can’t fully back ether. My initial enthusiasm for both candidates has been replaced by disgust. 2. Both candidates are excellent at playing politics. 3. Despite my outright disgust with Clinton and Obama, I still agree with them more than any other major candidates. 4. Nether Clinton or Obama can beat McCain. 5. The only way to unite the party in a winning coalition is with a joined Clinton Obama ticket, in one capacity or another. 6.The only way for the Democrats to take back the White House and actually get something done is a Clinton/Obama ticket. So this was pretty much the best birthday ever. I woke up at like 11 and my mom was gone. I got up ate, checked my email, and played FFXII for a few hours. W00t it was so sweet I totally took down 2 marks today and my clan level went up twice, I totally made 6000 gil. Ok enough with the FFXII nerdary. My mom came home for like an hour gave me my gifts(some Star Trek DVDs)/hung around for a bit. Then she left again to go someplace. So I played some more FFXII I got pwned this time so I stopped playing and tossed in Advent children and ate some cheese sticks. W00t w00t. Courtney came and picked me up at 4:45/5 ish. =] we chilled at the Grace for a while and talked. Then we met up with people at Duluth 10 for Transformers XDXDXDXD more on that movie later. Courtney, Maria, Lia, Anna, Eric R, Erick, Suri, Matt G, Dex and Kelly showed up. ^__^ the theater was actually full I was really surprised considering the movies been out since early July? We ended up sitting in a few different groups, I was in the back row with Lia and Kelly, probably a good thing since the three of us like to talk/make sarcastic comments during movies. After the movie and some general confusion the mass journeyed to the grace to hangout until we got a better idea. We ran into Bri there I was pretty pumped since I like never see her anymore. About an hour later Dex, Matt, Anna, and Eric R left us. After the grace we migrated to Kelly’s house to watch Pans Labyrinth, at this point “we” consisted of Courtney, Maria, Lia, and Kelly. Erick and suri felt like going home a little while before hand. Kellys was awesome we didn’t get thu the whole movie but it was still awesome. =] *sigh* good times good times. You know I thought today was going to suck but despite all the crap on my mind with just getting older, school shit, horrific money issues, and generally my life not going the way I want it too. But you know what for one night it just didn’t matter because my friends more then make up for all of that. In short thank you all for making my birthday a great day. Thanks for your time and birthday wishes. XD

W00t w00t well its official I am old as hell. Ok well not really but I am older then 90% friends again. Now that I am 19 only one thought dominates all other its that in exactly one year I will be 20 years old. Holy shit!!!!!!! Hmm Golden birthday, tasty. Lol Hanna texted me at 12 wishing me happy birthday, it was cute. Later today I am going to go see Transformers/hang out with some friends right now the list includes Summer, Anna, Eric R, Courtney, Maria, Eric, the Dexters, Matt, and hopefully Kelly/Lia/Lee. I may not be all that happy with my life right now. but I have some good friends, and you know what that’s all I really need. Even if I would love some tuition money right now.

Hey, I just got registered for classes today and I have:

…. and it is good. I have gotten a change to reconnect with my friends from out side HCIS again. Or as Courtney would put it “it makes me smile real big.” I have been to a few bonfires, Cannal Park, and the like. Its nice just having down time to relax. That reminds me I need to start job hunting again, anyone know a place that’s hiring? I have started playing my Final Fantasy XII game and its epic! So much fun, I wish I had more time to waste on my gaming. Things are different, just different…. Oooooooo am Summer moved back to Duluth the other day! I am really happy about that XD

So I don’t think I ever got a chance to motion a few things

1. Senior awards night
I got three awards high academic honors (GPA of 3.7 or better), Civic honors: Reach ( one of the 4R’s give to a student who strives to go above and beyond what they need to, to reach for more), and Department Award: Science (given to the student who exemplifies a genuine love of science).

Most of my other friends got some kind of award was well. ^_^


2. Symposium one: Nature Writing
My last Ted class… it was pretty nice I mean really all I had to do was make up stuff the whole time. Well only half of it, the other half was outside. What you go outside in nature writing? That’s crazy talk. I think I created a few decent pieces but most of it was crap =]. The weather was pretty crapy mostly rain. We got a few nice days. I was also blessed with some great classmates, there are a few notable exptions… Great class.

3. Symposium two: Archeology
I love Archeology! I had a great class and some great teachers the first part of the class was just learning about aceolagy in genarl and about the different kinds of culuters that have inhabated this part of the country. Yes, I was on an archeology trip=].. Doug owns a large peace of land 30 miles north of Cook were his cabin is. And it is an incredibly rich archeological site. The Archeologists that we had with us said that he has not found a site like this in many years (he as 20 years of xp). In the 3 days (two nights) that we where there we found artifacts from at last three different cultures some dating back at least 2,000 years. In some of our shovel tests (just one random shovel full) we got half a dozen Ceramics (shards of pottery) or more. Most artifacts we think came from the initial woodland (laurel) and terminal woodland (sandy lake) periods. However some artifacts may come from the archaic or even the peleo eras! Idk if that made anyseince but I had a lot of fun and we found a lot of stuff ^_^. This is going to be part of an ongoing acholagical dig that the school is going to do on Dougs land. I had a great time. The weather was great, the ticks on the other hand… not so much. Lol we had a few incidences we temporally lost a student, a tuck broke down on the way back, and ticks are creepy as hell. But I was a lot of fun I got the change to bond with some people who I would not have other wise and reconnect with some other friends. Its an expreance that I will never forget. It rekindled my passion for archolagy. I am going to try to get on a trip to Greece, Roman or Egypt sometime in a summer or two.

As some of you may know I graduated from high school yesterday. After a rather brief 4 years I have successfully completed HCIS.

Everything went great we spent a long time sanding in the hallway of Michal auditorium for no apparent reason. As the class walked in we got high fives from all the teachers prep really staial. Being cool school that we are pop and circumstance (the stereotypical graduation music) was replaced with Ganain (wtf I cant spell) drumming. The student speakers were fantastic, I am so proud of them. Karrisa was first followed by Matt+Wyatt (they handed out a “new car”), Anna+Alison went last. I was really impressed by all of them, I know that they all put a lot of work into their speeches, and it payed off.

The Keynote speaker was Donnie Ness. He was interesting you could tell that he was running for mayor but he still did a good job. As per the tradition in addition to our diplomas we received compasses. After the ceremony we meandered down to storms den for the reception. I had about 15 pictures taken *shudders*, talked for a bit then my wonderful grandmother took us out to The Olive Garden for lunch. It was the first time in a while that most of my family was together: My grandma, John, Mike+Terry+thiere kids, Jean+Brad+kids, my mom, me(dur), and our Family friends Alison and her husband Kevin came up as well. I love the Olive Garden! The food is Amazing! I had a good time and I made a pretty decent money hall too. =]

I went home quick to change before starting to Grad Party hop. I went to Anna’s First, then Alison’s, then back to Anna’s, and then to Ericks. I missed out on Kay’s, Ani’s, and Chelsea w’s. >_< its times like this that I wish that I could drive >_<. O well I had fun at the parties that I was able to get to ^_^. Anna said something that really hit home to me: “Today was probably the last time that I will see half of these people.” Or something to that effect. Holy crap. Its kind of a scary thought but it had not really registered yet. To some extent idk if the whole graduating thing has even hit yet, It still seems surreal. Holy crap.

I got home from Grad party hoping at 8:30. I was pretty bored and a little depressed so I IMed Courtney and long story short we ended up Burning things at Marias house with Orely and Geno. We got kicked out by he parents at 11 I got home a little bit after that. So I stated up until 2 reading crap online. So ends the day of my graduation. Busy as hell.

The next day (today) I was planning on sitting down and taking some time to myself. Which kind of worked out, ok no it did not:/. My mom woke me up early to put in the air conditioner. Then I deced that I could final get to some of my hobbys like Gaming =] so I popped in Final fantasy XII Game and started playing it, when about a ½ hour after Kelly called wanting to hang out. So we did and we had a good time driving in circles and such. We ended up picking up a few other people and going down to Canal Park for snow cones. The odd thing was the grace was dead, there was like now one there save maxi who apparently works there. Pual was there for a bit but he left. Then Erick O and Greg (yes the easty) showed up, but by that time we had to get going:/.

But when I got home something great happened Summer came online and she is moving back home next Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I started out my final year of high school with the headline “The begin of the end” and now I end it like this ^.

I still have a surreal feeling about this whole graduation thing. I have known that it has been coming for sometime now, but now that its here it does not feel real. It almost like a waking dream. Harbor city has been my life for the past 4 years, more then that it gave me a life. And the thought of not going there anymore is kind of disturbing, well not disturbing but you get the idea. Wow the past four years have gone by like that *snaps fingers*. But yet it has been a long time. Since when did high school become so paradoxical??? I blame Core. Idk Its just odd, defiantly a physiological enigma. I also blam core for that. I feel kind of bad one of my under classes man friends started crying, and another almost did. =[ idk I will be back to visit but tomorrow is the last morning that I will walk into HCIS as a student, from then on I will be an aluni when I walk in that door err elevator. O boy. One. More. Day. HOLY CRAP O.O
